Removal and Installation

All vehicles
1. Remove the driver air bag module.

Vehicles without remote audio controls
2. Release the tabs and remove the speed control switches.
- Cut the wire ties.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Vehicles with remote audio controls

3. CAUTION: When removing the speed control switch, be careful not to damage the leather wrap tied around the switch.

Cut the wire ties and remove the speed control switch.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.

All vehicles
4. NOTE: New wire ties need to be installed when this procedure is complete to secure the steering wheel harness.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
