Intake Manifold
Intake manifoldInstall the intake manifold bolts and tighten in 2 stages in the sequence shown.
^ Stage 1: Tighten to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
^ Stage 2: Tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
Position the throttle body (TB) spacer.
Install the 2 upper TB spacer bolts in 2 stages:
^ Stage 1: Tighten to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).
^ Stage 2: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
Install the 4 lower TB spacer bolts in 2 stages:
^ Stage 1: Tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
^ Stage 2: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
Install a new gasket and the throttle body (TB). Tighten the 4 bolts in 2 stages:
^ Stage 1: Tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
^ Stage 2: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
