PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER







Removal and Installation







1. Remove the audio control switch (if equipped).
1 Using a suitable tool, release the locking tang.
2 Disconnect the audio control switch electrical connector.

2. Remove the 3 screws and the steering column lower shroud.
3. Disconnect the PATS transceiver electrical connector.
4. Remove the screw and the PATS transceiver.

5. NOTE: Replacement of the PATS transceiver does not require the PATS keys to be programmed into the PCM again.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
