IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER - FUNCTIONAL







Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery.







2. Remove the instrument panel lower panel.
- Remove the screws.
- Release the fastener.
- To install, tighten the screws to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).







3. Using a thin bladed screwdriver, release the 2 clips and remove the upper steering column shroud.
4. Remove the audio control switch (if equipped).
5. Remove the 3 screws and the lower steering column shroud.
6. Remove the ignition lock cylinder.
1 Insert and turn the ignition key to position I (Accessory).
2 Using a thin bladed screwdriver, press the detent.
3 Remove the lock cylinder.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
