Normal Operation
The parking aid module communicates with the scan tool through the ISO 9141 communications network. Circuit 70 (LB/WH) provides the network connection to the parking aid module. The parking aid module shares the ISO 9141 network with the restraints control module (RCM), the power liftgate module, the LH power sliding door (PSD) module and the RH PSD module. Voltage for the parking aid module is provided by circuit 1040 (RD/BK). Ground is provided by circuit 1205 (BK). Two versions of this system are available, reverse parking aid with 4 sensors (rear only), and parking aid with 8 sensors (4 additional front sensors).
