Normal Operation
The scan tool is connected to the data link connector (DLC) to communicate with the high speed controller area (HS-CAN) network, the standard corporate protocol (SCP) network, the UART-based protocol (UBP) network and the International Standards Organization (ISO) 9141 network. Voltage for the scan tool is provided by circuit 40 (LB/WH). Ground is provided by circuits 1203 (BK/LB) and 1205 (BK).

- Fuse
- Circuit 40 (LB/WH) open
- Circuit 1203 (BK/LB) open
- Circuit 1205 (BK) open
- Scan tool
