Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor

Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor:

Removal
1. Remove the catalytic converter. For additional information, refer to Catalytic Converter.
2. Remove the heat shield.





3. Disconnect the output speed shaft speed (OSS) sensor connector.





4. Remove the OSS cover.
1 Remove the connector.
2 Remove the bolt.
3 Remove the cover.





5. Remove the OSS sensor.





Installation
1. Install the OSS sensor.





2. Install the OSS cover.
1 Install the cover.
2 Install the bolt.
^ Tighten to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs).
3 Install the connector.





3. Connect the OSS connector.





4. Install the heat shield.





5. Install the catalytic converter. For additional information, refer to Catalytic Converter.
