Range Sensor Assembly - Disassembled View:





Disassembly
1. Remove the bolts for the transaxle range sensor and remove it from the valve.





2. NOTE: If damage is indicated on the manual valve a new housing assembly must be installed into the case.

Remove and inspect the manual control valve.





3. Remove and discard the range sensor sealing sleeve.





Assembly
1. Install a new range sensor sealing sleeve.





2. Install the manual control valve into the housing and connect the transaxle range sensor. Make sure that the tab on the manual valve is correctly seated into the transaxle range sensor.
^ Tighten to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.).
