Cooling System Flushing
Cooling System FlushingMaterial:
1. WARNING: Do not open the cooling system while it is hot or while the engine is running. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding.
2. Remove the thermostat.
3. Install the thermostat housing without the thermostat.
4. NOTE: Refer to the cooling system flusher manufacturer's operating instructions for specific vehicle hook-up.
Use an appropriate cooling system flusher to flush the engine and radiator.

5. Install the thermostat.
6. Fill the cooling system.
