Test H: The Overhead Console Module Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool

PINPOINT TEST H: THE OVERHEAD CONSOLE MODULE DOES NOT RESPOND TO THE SCAN TOOL

Normal Operation
The overhead console module is present only on vehicles equipped with an overhead console with compass display. The overhead console module communicates with the scan tool through the standard corporate protocol (SCP) network. Circuits 914 (TN/OG) (SCP +) and 915 (PK/LB) (SCP-) provide the network connection to the overhead console module. The overhead console module shares the SCP network with the lighting control module (LCM), the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module (if equipped) and the driver door module (DDM) (if equipped). Voltage for the overhead console module is provided by circuits 964 (DB/LG) and 931 (OG). Circuit 676 (PK/OG) provides ground.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Overhead console module
