PINPOINT TEST H: NO MEDIUM SPEED CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (MS-CAN) COMMUNICATION OR INTERMITTENT NO MS-CAN COMMUNICATION

Normal Operation
The MS-CAN uses an unshielded twisted pair cable, circuits 2180 (WH/BK) and 2181 (BK/YE). The vehicle security module (VSM) and the instrument cluster (IC) communicate on the MS-CAN. The VSM communicates with the scan tool on the MS-CAN.

This pinpoint is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- VSM
- IC
