GENERATOR - DUAL GENERATORS







Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the dual batteries.
2. Loosen the 2 clamps and remove the charge air cooler (CAC) tube.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

3. Rotate the primary accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise and position the accessory drive belt aside.
4. Rotate the secondary accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise and position the accessory drive belt aside.
5. Disconnect the generator electrical connector.
6. Position the generator B+ protective cover aside, remove the B+ terminal nut and position the B+ terminal aside.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

7. Remove the 3 bolts and the generator.
- To install, tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
