PCV Heater: Service and Repair

POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) HEATER ELEMENT







Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the PCV heater element tube quick connect coupling.
2. Disconnect the PCV heater element electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolts and the PCV heater element. Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new O-ring seal on the PCV heater element. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
