PINPOINT TEST AB: ENGINE OIL LEVEL OVERFULL
Note:
Regeneration may occur during normal operation. During regeneration, diagnostic procedures may display biased values. If a regeneration occurs during diagnostic procedures, allow the process to complete before continuing diagnostics.
Note:
Clearing the powertrain control module (PCM) diagnostic trouble codes (DTC)s erases any PCM recorded freeze frame data. Make sure to record any PCM freeze frame information before proceeding.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- hard start condition with engine oil level overfull
- no start condition with engine oil level overfull
- engine oil level overfull condition
