PINPOINT TEST T: INTERMITTENT NO MEDIUM SPEED CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (MS-CAN) COMMUNICATION, ONE OR MORE MODULES ARE NOT RESPONDING DURING NETWORK TESTNormal Operation
An open circuit VDB06 (GY/OG (MS-CAN +) or VDB07 (VT/OG) (MS-CAN -) may cause intermittent or unreliable communication to all modules on the MS-CAN. The MS-CAN is used for communication between the following modules:
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Audio control module (ACM)
- Digital versatile disc (DVD) Player
- Driver seat module (DSM)
- Electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module (if equipped)
- Electronic manual temperature control (EMTC) module (if equipped)
- Instrument cluster
- Satellite digital audio receiver system (SDARS) (if equipped)
- Smart junction box (SJB)
In the event that either circuit VDB06 (GY/OG) or VDB07 (VT/OG) becomes open to any module on the network, unreliable network communication to all modules on the network may result.
