Removal and Installation
1. Remove the floor console. For additional information, refer to Console.
2. Release the parking brake.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the parking brake control.
^ Remove the adjustment nut.
5. Remove the 3 parking brake control bolts and the parking brake control.
^ To install, tighten to 18 Nm (13 lb-ft).
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Adjust the parking brake.
