Gearshift Lever

Removal and Installation





1. Remove the gearshift lever knob.
^ To install, tighten to 15 Nm (133 inch lbs.).
2. Remove the floor console. For additional information, refer to Console.
3. Remove the shift cables from the gearshift levers.
1 Carefully pry the gearshift cables from the shift levers.
2 Pull back on abutment sleeve and lift cable out of shifter.
4. Remove the 4 gearshift lever bolts and the gearshift lever.
^ To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).





5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Adjust the gearshift cables.
