Console - Floor

CONSOLE - FLOOR







Removal and Installation

All vehicles
1. Position the front seats forward and remove the 2 floor console rear bolts.
2. Position the front seats rearward.
3. If equipped, position the parking brake handle to the full-up position.

Fusion, Milan
4. Remove the floor console finish panel trim ring, if equipped with automatic transmission.

All vehicles
5. If equipped, remove the manual transmission gearshift knob.
6. Open the storage compartment door.
7. Remove the floor console finish panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Fusion, Milan
8. Remove the utility tray.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the audio jack connector.

9. Remove the 2 bolt covers.
10. Remove the 2 floor console bolts.

MKZ only
11. Remove the 2 floor console side finish panels.







12. Remove the 2 console-to-instrument panel bolts (one each side).







All vehicles
13. Remove the remaining 4 floor console bolts and remove the floor console.
14. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
