Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes - 3.0L











Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler lower inlet and outlet tubes from the radiator.
3. Disconnect the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler hoses from the transmission fluid cooler inlet and lower inlet tubes, and remove the lower inlet tube.
4. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet tubes from the transmission.
5. Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube bracket and the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet tubes from the engine.

Installation
1. Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet tubes and the bracket onto the engine.
^ Tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).

2. Connect the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet tubes to the transmission.
^ Tighten to 28 Nm (21 lb-ft).

3. Connect the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler hoses and clamps to the transmission fluid cooler inlet and lower inlet tubes.
4. Connect the transmission fluid cooler lower inlet and outlet tubes to the radiator.
^ Tighten to 28 Nm (21 lb-ft).

5. Fill the transmission with clean automatic transmission fluid to the correct level and check for correct transmission operation.
