Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CANISTER PURGE VALVE







Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve electrical connector.
2. Disconnect the vapor tube-to-EVAP canister purge valve inlet and outlet quick connect couplings.
3. Depress the retaining tab to release and remove the EVAP canister purge valve from the bracket.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Carry out the Evaporative Emission System Leak Test. Testing and Inspection
- Carry out the evaporative emission repair verification drive cycle.
