Removal

Vehicles equipped with a transmission control (TC) switch
1. Remove the selector lever bezel trim ring.





2. Lift the armrest and remove the upper console panel.





All vehicles

3. Slide the lower selector lever knob bezel downward.





4. Remove the 2 screws from the selector lever knob.





Vehicles not equipped with a TC switch

5. Remove the selector lever knob.

6. NOTE: Selector lever removed for clarity.

Release the 4 tabs and position the selector lever bezel aside to gain access to the transmission control (TC) switch electrical connector.





7. Disconnect the TC switch electrical connector, route the wiring harness out of the selector lever bezel and remove the selector lever knob and knob bezel.





Installation

Vehicles equipped with a TC switch
1. Route the TC switch wiring harness through the selector lever bezel and connect the TC switch electrical connector.





2. NOTE: Selector lever removed for clarity. Position the selector lever bezel in place.

^ Be sure the 4 tabs are locked in place.





All vehicles

3. Position the selector lever knob and knob bezel in place and install the screws.

4. Slide the lower selector lever knob bezel up and snap it into place.





5. Install the upper console panel.





6. Install the selector lever bezel trim ring.
