Steering WheelRemoval and Installation
1. Place the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position and remove the ignition key.
2. Remove the driver air bag module.
3. Remove and discard the steering wheel bolt.
^ To install, tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
4. Remove the steering wheel.
^ Disconnect the steering wheel switches electrical connector from the clockspring.
^ Route the 2 driver air bag module electrical connectors and harness through the steering wheel.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Install the driver air bag module.
