Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor









Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Disconnect the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor connector.





3. NOTE: Prior to removing the OSS, make sure that the area around the sensor is free of foreign material to prevent contamination of the transmission.

Remove the OSS sensor.

1. Remove the bolt.

2. Remove the OSS sensor.





Installation

1. Install the OSS sensor.

1. Lubricate the O-ring with transmission fluid and install the OSS sensor.

2. Install the bolt.
- Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).





2. Connect the OSS sensor connector.
