Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor









Removal and Installation

1. NOTICE: Make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to working on the electronic engine controls or the vehicle may be damaged.

Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

2. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.

3. Remove the bolts and the MAF sensor.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure the wiring harness retainer is attached to the air cleaner when connecting the electrical connector.
