Removal and Installation

1. Remove the transaxle. For additional information, refer to Automatic Transmission/Transaxle &/or Transmission Control Systems.

2. NOTE: One of the 8 flexplate holes are offset so the flexplate can only be installed in one position.

Remove the bolts and the flexplate.

- To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

4. Using the scan tool, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure, following the on-screen instructions.
