Principles of Operation

One-Touch Down

The one-touch down function allows the LH door window glass to completely lower with one button press. When the window control switch is pressed, the one-touch down relay supplies voltage to the driver side window motor, lowering the window.

Rear Window Defrost

When the rear window defrost switch is pressed, a ground signal is provided to the Generic Electronic Module (GEM) rear defrost input. The GEM then supplies a ground to the rear window defrost relay coil. When activated, the rear window defrost relay supplies voltage to the rear window defrost grids.
