Seat Track - Front

Removal and Installation

NOTE: For parts identification and locations, refer to Seat - Exploded View, Front Seat - Exploded View, Front.

NOTE: Note all wire harness routing for correct installation.

All seats

1. Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front Seat Backrest - Front.

2. Remove the seat cushion. For additional information, refer to Seat Cushion - Front Seat Cushion - Front.

Manual seat

3. Remove the 4 seat track nuts.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

Power seat

4. Remove the 2 power seat track nuts from the outboard side.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

5. Remove the 3 power seat track bolts from the inboard side.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

6. Disconnect the power seat motor jumper harness electrical connector.





7. Detach the electrical connector and wire harness pin-type retainers and remove the power seat wire harness.

All seats

8. Detach the safety belt buckle and pretensioner electrical connector from the seat pedestal.

9. Separate the seat pedestal from the seat track.

10. Remove the bolt and safety belt buckle and pretensioner.
- To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).

11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
