Power Liftgate Motor

Removal and Installation









1. Remove the power liftgate rod assembly. For additional information, refer to Power Liftgate Rod Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the power liftgate motor electrical connectors.





3. Remove the power liftgate retaining fasteners and the power liftgate motor assembly.
- To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).





4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Initialize the power liftgate. For additional information, refer to Power Liftgate Initialization Procedures.
