For vehicles with different front and rear tire pressures (such as E-Series and certain F-Series), adjust the tire pressures and train he tire pressure sensors following a tire rotation. Refer to Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Sensor Training Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Sensor Training. Failure to train the sensors results in a false low tire pressure event, causing the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) indicator to illuminate.

For vehicles with the same tire pressure for front and rear tires, tire rotation does not affect the system.
