Power Running Board (PRB) Motor









Removal and Installation

NOTE: The Power Running Board (PRB) motor and brackets are serviced as an assembly.

1. Remove the PRB step. For additional information, refer to Power Running Board (PRB) Step Power Running Board (PRB) Step.

2. Disconnect the PRB electrical connector.

NOTICE: The following steps require an assistant. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.

3. Remove the PRB motor and bracket assembly front bracket upper bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).

4. Remove the PRB motor and bracket assembly front bracket lower bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).

5. Remove the PRB motor and bracket assembly rear bracket upper bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).

6. Remove the PRB motor and bracket assembly rear bracket lower bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).

7. Remove the PRB motor and bracket assembly.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
