Power-Fold Seat Motor - Third Row

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the quarter trim panel on the side of the affected power-fold seat motor. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Quarter Trim Panel.

2. Pry to release the clips and remove the backrest latch outer cover.

3. Release the backrest cover lower J-clip, open the trim cover and separate the inner hook-and-loop strips.

4. Remove the power-fold seat motor with backrest latch in the following sequence.

1. Roll the backrest cover up.

2. Remove the screw retaining the latch inboard cover to the latch.

3. Detach the head restraint release cable and conduit from the latch.

4. Remove the 2 backrest latch-to-backrest frame bolts.
- To install, tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb-ft).

5. Remove the 2 backrest latch-to-cushion frame bolts
- To install, tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb-ft).

6. Disconnect the power-fold seat motor.





5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
