Universal Serial Bus (USB) Cable and Port









Removal and Installation

1. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel.

2. Disconnect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable and port-to-bezel connector.

3. Remove the USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable and port.
- Disconnect the USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable from the Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM).

- Cut the USB (Universal Serial Bus) port and cable ends and secure them to prevent Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) concerns.


4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Secuere the new USB (Universal Serial Bus) port and cable as necessary, to prevent NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) concerns.
