Front Bumper Cover / Fascia: Service and Repair




Bumper Cover - Front

Edge and MKX

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the 6 fender splash shield screws (3 each side).





3. Remove the 4 lower screws (2 each side).





4. Remove the 3 lower pin-type retainers.





Edge

5. If equipped, disconnect the auxiliary parking lamp electrical connectors.





MKX

6. If equipped, disconnect the fog lamps electrical connectors.





Edge and MKX

7. Pull the corner of the bumper cover from the brackets on both sides.





8. NOTE: Edge shown MKX similar.
Remove the 2 upper radiator grille bolts.






9. NOTE: Edge shown MKX similar.
Remove the 4 scrivets from the top of the radiator grill (6 on the MKX) and remove the front bumper cover.






10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
