Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair




Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Valve - 2.0L GTDI

Removal and Installation

1. Detach the hose retainer and disconnect the 2 vapor tube quick connect couplings.





2. Detach the hose retainer and disconnect the vapor tube quick connect coupling.





3. Disconnect the purge valve electrical connector and the vapor tube quick connect coupling and remove the fastener.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).






4. Remove the canister purge valve assembly.





5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
