Oil Pump Screen and Pickup Tube

Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the oil pan. For additional information, refer to Engine Lubrication Components- Exploded View [1][2]Diagrams and Oil Pan Service and Repair.

3. NOTE: Discard the gasket and clean and inspect the gasket mating surfaces.
Remove the 2 bolts and the oil pump screen and pickup tube.

- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).


4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
