Removal

1. Remove the quarter trim panel. REFER to Quarter Trim Panel - With Inflatable Safety Belts or REFER to Quarter Trim Panel - Without Inflatable Safety Belts .

2. Position aside the liftgate weatherstrip.

3. Remove the D-pillar trim panel bolt.

4. Pull outward on the D-pillar to release the clips.

5. If equipped, disconnect the speaker electrical connector.

6. Feed the third row safety belt through the D-pillar trim panel and remove the trim panel.

Installation

NOTICE: To avoid damage to the D-Pillar trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the D-pillar trim panel before installing.

1. Install the D-pillar trim panel.

1. Slide the third row safety belt through the D-pillar trim panel.
2. If equipped, connect the D-pillar speaker electrical connector.
3. Connect the D-pillar trim panel to the body.

2. Install the D-pillar trim panel bolt.
- Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

3. Position back the liftgate weatherstrip.

4. Install the quarter trim panel. REFER to Quarter Trim Panel - With Inflatable Safety Belts or REFER to Quarter Trim Panel - Without Inflatable Safety Belts .
