Removal and Installation

1. Disconnect the 2 license plate lamp electrical connectors and unclip the harness from the bumper.





2. If equipped, disconnect the parking aid sensors and unclip the harness from the bumper.





3. If equipped, detach the trailer harness pin-type retainer from the rear bumper.





4. Remove the rear bumper nuts.
- To install, tighten the new nuts to 175 Nm (129 lb-ft).


5. Remove the rear bumper.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Transfer components as necessary. If equipped with a rear parking aid sensor, refer to Collision Avoidance and Parking Assist Systems for additional information.
