Blower Motor Speed Control

Removal and Installation










1. Remove the heater core and evaporator core housing. For additional information, refer to Heater Core And Evaporator Core Housing .

2. Disconnect the blower motor speed control electrical connector.
1. Release the blower motor speed control electrical connector retaining tab.

2. Disconnect the blower motor speed control electrical connector.






3. Detach the blower motor speed control from the heater core and evaporator core housing.
1. Gently depress the retaining tab.

2. Slide the blower motor speed control towards the driver side of the vehicle to release it from the heater core and evaporator core housing.






4. Remove the blower motor speed control.
1. Position the blower motor speed control to align the retaining tabs on the control with the notches on the heater core and evaporator core housing.

2. Remove the blower motor speed control.






5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
