Removal and Installation

NOTE: To remove the RH third row seat backrest, the LH seat outboard pivot cover must be removed before the RH seat outboard pivot cover can be removed.

NOTE: For component identification and locations, refer to Seat - Exploded View, Third Row .

LH or RH backrest

1. Pry to release the clips and remove the LH seat outboard pivot cover.

2. Pry to release the clips and remove the RH seat outboard pivot cover.

LH or RH backrest

3. Release the backrest cover lower J-clip, open the cover and release the inner J-clips.

4. Remove the pivot bolt.
- To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).


5. Roll the backrest cover up, remove the 2 backrest latch-to-backrest frame bolts and remove the backrest frame.
- To install, tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).


6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
