Clutch Pedal Cruise Control Deactivation Switch

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Removal

1. NOTICE: The switch plunger must be compressed for the switch to rotate in the bracket. Attempting to remove the switch with the plunger extended (during pedal apply) results in damage to the switch.

Disconnect the clutch pedal cruise control deactivation switch electrical connector.

2. Rotate the clutch pedal cruise control deactivation switch counterclockwise one-quarter turn.

3. Remove the clutch pedal cruise control deactivation switch.

Installation

1. NOTE: When installing the clutch pedal cruise control deactivator switch, it is automatically self-adjusting to the proper position. Do not pull up or push down on the pedal during installation. Initial installation of the clutch pedal cruise control deactivator switch allows for one adjustment. If additional adjustments are necessary, install a new switch.
Install the clutch pedal cruise control deactivation switch.

2. Rotate the clutch pedal cruise control deactivation switch clockwise one-quarter turn.

3. Connect the clutch pedal cruise control deactivation switch electrical connector.
