Stoplamps

The BCM (Body Control Module) monitors the input from the stoplamp switch. When the brake pedal is applied, voltage is routed to the BCM (Body Control Module), indicating a request for the stoplamps. The BCM (Body Control Module) then supplies voltage to the stoplamps.

The BCM (Body Control Module) does not activate the stoplamps when the ignition is off or in accessory mode.
