WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Removal

1. Remove the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet pipe. REFER to Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe - 2.0L GDI .

2. Disconnect the TB (Throttle Body) electrical connector.

3. Remove the 4 TB (Throttle Body) bolts and the TB (Throttle Body).

4. Remove and discard the TB (Throttle Body) gasket.

Installation

1. Install a new TB (Throttle Body) gasket.

2. Install the TB (Throttle Body) and the 4 TB (Throttle Body) bolts.
- 10 Nm (89 lb-in) in the sequence shown.






3. Connect the TB (Throttle Body) electrical connector.

4. Install the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet pipe. REFER to Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe - 2.0L GDI .
