Pinpoint Test D: No Power in START

Refer to Wiring Diagrams Set 13, Power Distribution for schematic and connector information. Electrical Diagrams

Normal Operation

When the ignition switch is placed in the START position, fused ignition voltage is sent to the Battery Junction Box (BJB).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:

- Ignition switch

PINPOINT TEST D : NO POWER IN START

D1 CHECK THE IGNITION SWITCH

- Ignition OFF.

- Disconnect: Ignition Switch C250.

- Carry out the Ignition Switch component test.

Did the ignition switch pass the component test?

Yes
REFER to Starting System to diagnose the Engine Does Not Crank.

No
INSTALL a new ignition switch. REFER to Ignition Switch . TEST the system for normal operation.
