REMOVAL

NOTE: On vehicles equipped with the optional Roof Control Module (RCM) (also known as the Overhead Control Panel/OCP control unit or DBE) the front dome/reading lamps are integral to the RCM on the headliner near the windshield.




1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the Roof Control Module (RCM) (1) from the headliner, but do not disconnect the vehicle wire harness from the module connector receptacle (3).
3. Rotate the bulb holder (2) counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it from the keyed opening in the RCM circuit board.
4. Pull the bulb holder and bulb straight out of the circuit board.
5. Pull the bulb straight out of the bulb holder.
