BULB

CAUTION: Always use the correct bulb size and type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or type may overheat and cause damage to the lamp, the socket or the lamp wiring.

NOTE: This procedure is for passenger and cargo vans only. On cab and chassis vehicles the license plate lamp is integral to the left or right rear lamp unit.




1. Align the base of the bulb with the socket within the license plate lamp housing (1).
2. Engage the tabs on one side of the lamp lens (3) into the side of the lamp housing without a slot (2).
3. Push the opposite side of the lens upward until the lens snaps into place and is fully engaged in the lamp housing.
4. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
