LAMP





NOTE: This procedure is for passenger and cargo vans only. On cab and chassis vehicles the license plate lamp is integral to the left or right rear lamp unit.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, carefully pry the outboard edge of the license plate lamp housing (2) down out of the molded plastic cover (1) over the license plate tub formation in the lower left rear door outer panel.
3. Pull the lamp housing down out of the mounting hole in the cover far enough to access and disconnect the vehicle wire harness connector.
4. Remove the license plate lamp from the rear door.
