RemovalCaution: Do not attempt to check belt tension with a belt tension gauge on vehicles equipped with an automatic belt tensioner.
1.
Remove radiator fan and shroud.
2.
Remove fan
drive belt.
3.
Using a suitable tool, rotate tensioner assembly (2) counterclockwise until tension has been relieved from accessory drive bolt (1).
4.
Remove accessory drive belt (1).
