INSTALLATION




1. position catalytic converter in vehicle.
2. Install catalytic converter to diesel particulate filter clamp. Do not tighten at this time.
3. Install turbocharger elbow to catalytic converter clamp. Do not tighten at this time.
4. Install catalytic converter bracket bolt. Tighten to 8 Nm (70 in. lbs.)
5. Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. Make necessary adjustments, if necessary.




6. Tighten clamp nuts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
7. Install oxygen sensor. Tighten to 50 Nm (36 ft. lbs.).
8. Install catalytic converter temperature sensor. Tighten to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
9. Start the vehicle and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
