Removal






REMOVAL

1. Remove the air filter housing and air inlet tube from the EGR throttle body




2. Disconnect the EGR Temperature Sensor harness connector (1).




3. Remove the rear transmission dipstick tube bolt (2) and disconnect the vacuum line (1) from the EGR Bypass Valve Actuator.




4. Remove the front transmission dipstick tube bolt (1), and position the transmission dipstick tube aside.




5. Disconnect the front EGR cooler engine coolant hose (1).




6. Disconnect the rear EGR cooler engine coolant hose (1).




7. Disconnect the EGR valve actuator harness connector (1).




8. Disconnect the EGR Backpressure sensor harness connector (1).




9. Disconnect the EGR bypass valve position sensor harness connector (1).




10. Remove the 2 Rear throttle body bracket bolts (1).




11. Remove the 2 upper front EGR tube bolts (1).
12. Remove the front EGR cooler-to-cylinder head bolt (2).




13. Remove the 2 upper rear EGR tube bolts (1).
14. Remove the rear EGR cooler-to-cylinder head bolts (2).




15. Remove the two front EGR cooler-to-cylinder head bolts (1), the EGR throttle body bracket (2), and the EGR cooler (3).
