Removal

REMOVAL

1. Perform the Fuel Pressure Release procedure.
2. Disconnect the Negative Battery Cable.
3. Remove the Engine Cover.
4. Remove the Air Filter Housing and Intake Tube.
5. Remove the Engine Cover Support Brace.




6. Remove the Lower Turbocharger Intercooler Flex Hose (1).
7. Position the Vacuum Pump (2) aside.




8. Disconnect the EGR Airflow Valve and IAT harness connectors.




9. Disconnect the front EGR Tube (4) from the Charge Air Crossover Manifold, located upstream of the Intake Manifolds.




10. Remove the rear IAT Sensor Housing Bracket bolts (1).




11. Remove the rear IAT Sensor Housing Bracket bolts (1) and the IAT Sensor Housing Bracket (2).




12. Remove the front IAT Sensor Housing bolts (1).




13. Remove the EGR Airflow Valve Retaining bolts (1) and remove the EGR Airflow Valve (2).
